Our dear friend Akira Mori pastors a church in Iwaki Fukushima prefecture. I hope you will continue to pray for him and his church. I reported on him several days ago.
Already 12 or more truck loads of relief supply has been brought to us and it means we have to be wise and diligent to distribute them.
Please pray for God’s wisdom to be given to us, so that we will be able to bring the supplies to the “right” people.
Please pray that the Lord will refresh those who drive long distance to bring the supply and us who are here spiritually as well as physically every day.
Please pray that the Spirit of God will urge the people of this country to hunger after Jesus Christ, repent of their sins and come to Christ.
Today, I was with the team that came in 2 trucks from Chiba and Tokyo the whole day. At the end of our time, we went to the coastal village of Ena that was shattered by tsunami. As we were walking and taking photos, I saw a couple of men carrying kettles. They were walking some distance to get water. At that point, we had unloaded all the food and some water; all we had was about 500 liters of water. Words got around and the whole neighborhood could come and get water that they had been in need of. It was my privilege to tell the people of the village that Christians from Chiba and Tokyo sent the water by the money they got from the US, that Christians took the risk of radiation and drove all the way to bring it.
May the Lord Jesus become famous and His name be exalted in this city. Akira
PRAY AND GIVE THAT THIS STORY COULD BE TOLD DOZENS OF TIMES. SOON WE WILL BE ASKING FOR PEOPLE TO COME ON RELIEF TEAMS.
