Relief Journey – the first step

Jeff Chapman and the other 7 drivers have made it to Niigata on the west side of Japan overlooking the Japan Sea. The roads got pretty ‘dicey’ once they got into Niigata, as there is a lot of snow on the ground. (There is snow forecasted for the next few days up there). THANK God for the journey so far. None of the drivers in his group have made the trip before, so they need to work hard to stay on the right path. PRAY that they do not get lost and they maximize their driving. One man with them has never driven a truck before (it is manual transmission), and he has never driven on snow before. PRAY for safety and that the new driver learns how to drive safely. They had not felt any of the earthquakes while they were driving, but there have been several rather large aftershocks on the eastern side there throughout yesterday and the night. PRAY for the aftershocks to stop, there have been several 3-6.1 earthquakes in the affected areas last night and today.
