UPDATE We arrived safely in Machida late this afternoon. Thanks for praying as the trip was very uneventful and we were pleased to find gasoline quite available in town.
Arriving here means some challenges but not a week ago. PRAY that our ministry in the neighborhood would be revived.

We are heading back to Machida, Tokyo today (Wed Am). After being with our missionaries here in Nara, we realize it is God’s time for us to return to our home. The situation in Tokyo is still a little fluid but certainly stabilizing. There are also many positive developments in the Fukushima Nuclear Plant.
— PRAY that our driving back and return would be safe and uneventful. Looks like rain the whole way. PRAY that we arrive at home with a full tank of gasoline.
— PRAY for us as we will return to living with daily rolling electrical blackouts and aftershocks. We will also have to return to electrical and water conservation. But we also expect that gasoline supplies and other shortages will be resolved very soon.
